My honest reflection of the year

One of my favourite end of the year activities is doing a reflection exercise for the entire year. I enjoy the exercise and I am one of those so-called geeks who likes to plan and reflect every chance I get.

The past year was chaotic, unpredictable, challenging and incredible, all in one! I’m grateful for the times I was able to slow down and appreciate the simple moments, for the people who stood by me and kept me grounded, and for the moments of growth and self-discovery that have pushed me to become a better version of myself. I’m also proud of all the amazing achievements I’ve made and all the hard work I’ve put in. From pushing myself to try new things, to developing invaluable skills, to taking time to reflect on the good and the bad, I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

At the end of last year, I said to myself that my word for the year was Intentional. As a result, there were a few things that I had in mind to live more intentionally. So how did I do? Did I really live by my word?

Inspired by Gretchen Rubin, the creator of The Four Tendencies framework, let me share with you my 22 for 22.

As at 19 Dec — so technically I have a few weeks left to produce something artistic, gain a certification, achieve 2 work goals and get to my ideal weight. :)

In 2022, I managed to:

  • take at least 10k steps a day (My daily average is 12,000 steps)
