Get to know me via my Notes app

As I wait in the car for my daughter to finish her dance class, I thought I’d take a look at Notes app on my phone and share with you a glimpse of my life.

Let’s see.

The first note is a list of children in my daughter’s class. I had it to send birthday party invitation.

To do is basically like my new year resolution. It’s a list of big things that I plan to achieve each year. You can see I am planning to study this year.

How to become a tech lead is a guide that I am planning to write because that is a number one question that developers at work or in the community asked me. I’m trying to create a path or a program for aspiring tech leads.

How was your University time? This note contains questions that an online portal asked me. I copied them in my notes so I could answer them on the go.

Chocolate chip cookies. My daughter’s favourite dessert. Enough said.

Bread. And asparagus. That’s my shopping list. Believe it or not, I use the same shopping list every week and buy similar things, if not exactly the same, each week. Told you, I ain’t a wizz in the kitchen.

15 days. These are some of the content ideas I had. I’ve transferred them into a central location on my Google Drive but I still keep the notes so I could refer to it quickly without connecting to Google Drive and the Internet.

USP. In my 30 Days Thought Leadership Challenge, I asked students to think of their niche by writing down their Unique Selling Proposition (USP), their skills/experience and what they enjoy doing. This was me trying to do the same challenge.

There you have it. A quick glimpse into my Notes app and how I blend work life and home life.

If you’re up for a challenge, feel free to share a screen capture of your Notes app on your smartphone. I’d love to get to know you.
